SMI will host a private, behind‑the‑scenes tour of the Ryder‑operated BJC Consolidated Service Center (CSC)—a state‑of‑the‑art, automated distribution operation purpose‑built to support BJC’s hospital network and awarded for its innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact.  At the SMI Fall 2025 Forum, we were proud to present BJC Health System and Ryder System, Inc. with the 2025 Tom Hughes Collaboration Award—recognizing a collaboration that is redefining what’s possible in healthcare supply chain performance, resiliency, and patient care.  Come see this solution in action!  June 24 & 25, SMI is pleased to invite a select group of healthcare supply chain and executive leaders to do exactly that!

SMI members BJC Health and Ryder were chosen for their collaboration to transform the healthcare supply chain through the creation of an industry-leading Consolidated Services Center (CSC).  Together, BJC and Ryder designed and implemented a 416,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center that delivers 100% inventory control, 99% on-time delivery, and real-time supply chain visibility across the 14 hospitals, 3,300 beds, and 4,600 physicians in BJC’s East Region.

  • The BJC Cardinal Box is reserved for SMI for the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball Game on Wednesday, June 25th starting at 6:45 PM. Only available to the first 25 registrants.
  • BJC has recommended 2 hotels (one closest to the airport and one in downtown St. Louis). Participants must make their own hotel reservations, details below.
