SMI Recognizes 20-Year Inaugural Members

Kingston, MA (November 21, 2024):    SMI®, a non-profit, member-driven community of healthcare supply chain organizations, celebrated its 20th anniversary along with 27 inaugural member organizations at the SMI Fall Forum in Austin, TX. These members were honored in front of over 250 SMI members and invited guests. SMI members meet twice annually at Forums to discuss industry challenges, share learnings and best practices, and work side-by-side to create solutions and resources.

The 20-year organizations include: Aesculap (Center Valley, PA), Avanos (Alpharetta, GA), Baxter Healthcare Corporation (Deerfield, IL), BD (Franklin Lakes, NJ), Cardinal Health (Dublin, OH), DeRoyal (Powell, TN), Georgia Pacific (Atlanta, GA), GHX (Louisville, CO), Johnson& Johnson (New Brunswick, NJ), McKesson (Irving, TX), Owens & Minor (Mechanicsville, VA), Staples (Framingham, MA), AdventHealth (Altamonte Springs, FL), BJC Healthcare (St. Louis, MO), Advocate Health (Plymouth Meeting, PA), Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH), Duke Health (Durham, NC), Intermountain Health (Salt Lake City, UT), Johns Hopkins Health System (Baltimore, MD), Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN), Mercy Health (Chesterfield,MO), Mass General Brigham (Somerville, MA), OSF Healthcare (Peoria, IL), Sentara (Norfolk, VA), SSM Health (Creve Coeur, MO), Yale New Haven Health (New Haven, CT), and Texas Health Resources (Arlington, TX). Over the past two decades, these organizations have worked as part of the SMI community to move the healthcare supply chain industry forward with real transformational change.  Jim Francis, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Mayo Clinic, explained “SMI membership not only encourages connection and collaboration but also provides opportunities for individuals to make a meaningful impact.
