SMI - Continued Growth in 2010
 
SMI is pleased to announce additional new members in 2010 including:
 
-       Cook Medical – David Reed, Vice President Operations and Corporate Compliance Officer
-       University of Southern California – Jean Sargent, Director, Supply Chain
 
Cook Medical is a global leader in pioneering the development of technology to support and advance minimally invasive procedures with a special focus on the convergence of technology platforms which include devices, pharmaceuticals, cell therapy and biotechnology. David Reed comments that, “Cook welcomes the opportunity to collaborate and contribute towards the effort of enhancing the overall value of the healthcare supply chain process for the patients we serve.
 
According to Jean Sargent who has moved from University Kentucky (UK) Healthcare, another SMI member, to University Southern California (USC), “I am excited to have been invited back to SMI.
